Ms. Cardoso is an attorney with Kopelowitz Ostrow in the Fort Lauderdale office. Her practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, including employment, business, and class action disputes. Ms. Cardoso represents both Plaintiffs and Defendants in state and federal courts. Ms. Cardoso earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, where she served as Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review and as a research assistant for one of her professors. While in law school, Ms. Cardoso worked as a judicial intern for the Broward County 17th Judicial Circuit Staff Attorneys’ Office. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration, where she was inducted as a member of the Phi Betta Kappa honor society. Ms. Cardoso is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Broward County Bar Association, and is active in numerous community organizations. |
